On November 2nd, 2019 Melissa and Chris officialy became known as Mr. & Mrs.Flom. They had a beautiful backyard wedding at their friends riverfront home. The decor setup was simple yet eye-catching not to mention the Ice sculpture of their name top it all off. We had a blast following these two around the whole evening. I even got to capture different varieties of photos then I was used to. I came up with the idea to do not only do a bride and groom first look, but a bridesmaids first look too. I mean who doesn't want to see their closest friends reaction of them on their special day. I know I would! Anyways, her friends reacted perfectly much to say they did a way better job than grooms ever do. Shortly after that we waited on Chris to finish getting dressed, and what should have took about 30 minuets turned into almost an hour because the none of the groomsmen knew how to tie a tie lol. then finally we were ready to capture the first look. Melissa looked absolutely stunning walking down the hill approaching Chris. Knowing they were minutes away from being husband and wife these two couldn't stop laughing and smiling at one another. After we wrapped up the photos they held hands and walk down the grass aisle. They were surrounded by their friends and family on both sides standing up cheering with joy for what's to come. As they were standing upfront only a few minutes into the ceremony a cute chubby and cuddly fur buddy interrupted them because he seen something in the grass. That was literally so adorable one of the best moments there. And from point on the ceremony went on and these two were now officially husband and wife. After the big kiss they escorted everyone to the bon fire lighting while caring two tiki torches. Then shortly after that it was pretty much dark and time for the toast on congratulating Mr. & Mrs.Flom on their journey as a team. After the toast some of their family members including them did a little speech to start the night off on some good past memories on how they met. Then after all the speeches were over everyone pigged out. I mean literally there was a full roasted pig sprawled out on the buffet table lol. Then when ten o'clock came around these two newly weds got on their boat and sailed away down the Halifax River. And that was only their first destination, because soon these two will be sailing across the world together. Sounds like a fishermens fairytale. As always we wish our couples a life full of love. And safe travels on the journey together as one.
